A Brief History Of Our Work In Nigeria
EMCC Immanuel Fellowship (Winnipeg) is sending a health and ministry team to two towns, Tungan Magajiya and Marken Bedi, in northern Nigeria for two weeks in early August 2012. This visit is a follow-up to Immanuel’s ministry in July 2010 to the same area. The team was asked to return in 2011 but could not.
Vision for this mission
This year the health team will hold clinics at UMCA Bible College, Tungan Magajiya, and at the UMCA clinic at Marken Bedi. This clinic was started by the Arewa Women’s Fellowship in the house donated by Steve and Sonia Dettweiler after their language studies in the area. The team will follow up discipleship training initiated during earlier contacts in Magajiya.
- For the peace and stability of Nigeria
- For safety of the team members coming from Kentucky, Ontario, Manitoba and Lagos, Nigeria
- For timely and effective medical and spiritual help to those who need it
- For travel and ministry expenses
